Amanda Cabana

Amanda was taken from us unexpectedly on Feb 1st . She was a beautiful soul and an amazing mother to Simon and Alyssa and a wonderful wife to Craig . Amanda was a shining light to all that knew her. Her ability to make you laugh and her own infectious laugh are legendary. Amanda had a wonderful gift to give you the feeling of being someone in her eyes. She has left behind an extensive village of people due to her immense involvement with the community. Amanda was true champion of the PTA. She brought an incredible level of passion and energy to all that she did. Many PTAs had the pleasure of working with her. Amanda was a part of the Washington state Board of Directors as we as serving on the PTA boards for View Ridge Elementary , Evergreen Middle School and Everett Council. Amanda had such a passion for advocating for children in need and has changed the lives of many children in the Everett School District and beyond.

Amanda’s home away from home was the Evergreen Speedway. Amanda has been a fixture at the track for her whole life. Helping her mom as a kid in the office, selling programs as a 5 year old, even stopping at the track on her prom day in her dress. If you are a racer or crew you got a pit pass from her or if you came through the front gate you got a ticket from her. She has done it all. Most importantly you probably got some good nature joking around or you got to hear her great laugh.

And if that isn’t all enough, Amanda was an incredibly dedicated and valued employee at AAA Monroe Rock for over 2 decades. Again, known for her laugh, but also her music, her games and an unmatched ability to multitask.

We are asking that Amanda’s village come together at this time and wrap Craig, Simon and Alyssa in our love by supporting them financially through the times ahead.
