My mother is almost 76 years old. She fell on Monday. She has been in the hospital since then. She suddenly took a turn for the worst. She is incoherent at times. Doctors suspected that maybe she had a stroke. A CT scan was done and was found that she has not had a stroke. We are still not sure what is going on with her. One thing is for sure, she can't move around nor can she be left alone. She only has two kids. I'm a single parent who lives from pay check to paycheck. My brother lives in Southern California and also has his own financial difficulties. I have a hard time asking for help, but I just don't know what else to do.
My father served in the military so she gets survivors pension. It's not much, but it's enough to give her a share of cost. This means that she needs to come up with the money before her insurance kicks in. We are estimating that she will be in there at least 6 weeks. This is just based on the fact that she can't put her weight on her leg. As I said we still don't know what is going on with her state of mind.
Any help would be appreciated. Prayers would also help.
