Amaal's Autism Awareness Walk
Donation protected
Hi it's zahra :)
2nd April is Autism Awareness Day!
My eldest daughter Amaal received her autism diagnosis shortly after her 4th birthday.
With Amaal being autistic and non verbal the past 6 years have been a journey filled with challenges, learning, and so much love. It hasn’t always been easy, but one thing that has truly been a saving grace is her incredible special needs school. It’s not just a place where she learns—it’s where she’s understood, supported, and celebrated for exactly who she is. I'm so grateful that Amaal was able to start reception in her special needs school, which specialises in children with autism and communication delays.
On 2nd April it's autism awareness day and Amaal and her classmates will be doing a sponsored walk to raise money for two causes very close to our hearts: her school and the National Autistic Society. These donations will help children like Amaal continue to receive the support they need, and they’ll also go towards helping autistic people and their families across the country.
If you’d like to support Amaal on her journey, please consider donating. Every little bit makes a difference, and I'm so incredibly grateful for your kindness
