Newcomer Immigrant College Fund

Please help 12 amazing newcomer immigrant kids attend college! They each arrived in the United States four years ago, learned English, and this spring were accepted to four year CUNY colleges.  Their high school, where I work, is in Elmhurst Queens, an epicenter of New York's COVID pandemic. Our families have been devastated, and these kids may not be able to attend college for financial reasons. They have all gotten Dream Act funding, but still face a gap. I'm calling on my community to match (or exceed?) a $2000 donation that Jon and I are making to assist. Any funds raised will be sent directly to CUNY to pay tuition.
