Help with Funeral Costs for Our Mom

Hello, my name is Yesenia I am the eldest daughter to Sandra Oquendo who unexpectedly left us to become an angel on 12/30/2021. She is survived by three children, Angel Betancourt (18) and Cristal Betancourt (20). Our mom was easily the kindest, most caring, giving, empathetic women I’ve ever known. She was educated, bright, witty, stubborn, and so funny like you wouldn’t believe. She was an RN for close to 28 years, most recently she was working in the COVID ICU Unit and cared for the patients no one else would. She worked nearly 5 12 hour shifts a week pouring her heart and soul into her work and caring for her patients.

She was so loved by anyone that had the pleasure to know her, she has impacted so many lives in her 51 years of life and we are so heartbroken over her passing. We appreciate all the love and prayers we have received this far.

At this time we are raising money to cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services for Mom and allow the people that loved her so much say their last goodbyes as her passing was completely unexpected.

We appreciate any contribution and any excess money will go to creating keepsakes for her loved ones to have.
