Yoda

Yoda is a miracle kitty. He was born in a garage in the middle of winter in 2022. Yoda’s mom was discovered giving birth to a litter of kittens in my brother-in-law’s garage in the middle of winter of 2022. My sister being a vet tech new what to do and brought the litter and mom inside. Yoda was one of two kittens that basically had to be ‘brought back to life’ from an unresponsive frozen state. The kittens survived and beat the odds. After months of being taken care of by my niece and sister’s family, Yoda, along with Chewbacca (another boy from the same litter) came home with me and my mother.

Fast forward three years. Chewbacca is asthmatic and needs daily inhaler medication, and we thought Yoda was safe from any medical issues. However, this past month has proven that he has a urinary tract health problem. Just a week and a half ago (November 2025) we had to bring Yoda into the ER for an emergency procedure. His bladder was backed up from a blockage in his urethra. We are not sure what caused this but now we are back in the ER as he needed another emergency visit.

The veterinary bills are staggering. If you or anyone you know can help, it would mean the world to our family. Yoda is 3 1/2 years old and deserves many more years of life. He is the sweetest little guy you will ever encounter and a unique kitty with an abundance of love to give. He shows his affection with lots of head butts and face licks.
