Bring Jenna Home

Donation protected

Aloha friends and Family,

On August 30th 2019 we’ve lost our sister, Jenna Mahealani Silva. She was suddenly taken from us by circumstances we just can’t come to understand. She was the daughter of Carla Crawford and Darryl Silva, sister of Joann, Justin and Jordan. And mother to Ikaika and Amaya. Jenna grew up with her dads side of the family in Haleiwa, Hawaii. After she had her son Ikaika, she moved to a Chicago to be with her sister Joann. Chicago is where she finished school, became a nurse and had baby girl Amaya. Jenna was so outgoing loved to give hugs and love on anyone and everyone that would let her. She was the 3rd LCM Nurse to receive the “Daisy Award of Excellence” and was described by fellow colleagues as- bright, cheery, greeted people with the biggest smiles, was very professional but was also very empathetic, had such a caring attitude and treated each and everyone with boundless respect and compassion- Jenna was the type to light up every room she walked into, she was never scared of what anyone thought of her and was such a hard ass BUT loved everyone and was always concerned with anyone that looked like they were having a bad day. She was such a greater listener and was always so positive.

Jenna’s life was taken so suddenly at such a young age and left so many people that loved her unconditionally, behind. The reason for this GoFundMe is to raise money to bring Jenna home and for funeral services that have to be paid out of pocket by sister Joann. Jenna passed while on vacation in Florida, we need to bring her home to her kids and sister in Chicago. If you can spare any monetary amount it would be greatly appreciated. Anything will help to lessen the financial burden off Joann who is currently caring for Jenna’s kids and making funeral arrangements. If you’re not able to donate please just share this to help this family during this time of heartache and tragedy.
