Am I Making You Feel Sick? A student short needs your help.

Hi everyone! This the official fundraising campaign for Am I Making You Feel Sick? A psychological horror written and directed by Abigail Gomez. Most of our crew are film students here at the School of cinematic arts at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

The Story:

After a zombie outbreak causes her best friend to unexpectedly leave her behind. Alyssa’s psyche completely shatters. Her brain doing its best to save what's left, clouds her reality in delusion making Alyssa think her best friend is still alive, but hints of reality slip through and eventually she remembers what's happened after taking a bite of a home cooked meal.

A statement from the Director:

"Am I making you feel sick? " has turned into a full circle moment for me. When I was young I loved to write short stories to the point that in elementary I decided I wanted to write a book. I started to do so by giving my English teacher drafts to read. As I grew that little girls dream of becoming an author slipped away when I was made more aware of the real world. I had that same attitude towards screenwriting when I first started college, pushing it off as long as I could. However, when I started to write this script and felt the words flow out onto the screen, my love for writing, and storytelling returned stronger than ever.

The feeling of rediscovering a passion you left behind so long ago creates an excitement within you to keep going despite knowing the hurdles you may face. A year ago today I wouldn't have the freedom or people to do this project, and now that I've gotten this far I intend to make that little writer in me proud. "
