This year marks the 7th Annual fun run/walk/push in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. It has been truly inspiring to see the large number of people that continue to suport our annual event which raises much needed funds for those living with dementia and their families in the South Kerry area.
The fundraiser will take place again this year on the 26th of December however due to the current Covid 19 restrictions we are asking you to support us in a slightly different way.
Our aim is to get people running/walking/pushing a 5km route wherever you are in the country or world on the 26th of December. We hope that you use this fundraiser to remember those who we have lost since last year's event and share your memories of those who are currently living with dementia in our community.
You can donate through this page and there will also be an option to donate at the Caherciveen Rowing Club on the morning of the event. Please post pictures and videos of your walk and we will share them on the page. We also hope that people who cannot make it home for Christmas this year will take part in this event and share with us some of their memories.
This year has been extremely difficult for us all however we have already demonstrated that our community spirit and support can help us through these very tough times.
Thank you all for your continued support.
