Harry Shaddock Fund - Alzheimer Research
Watching someone suffering from Alzheimer's disease is heartbreaking. The slow deterioration starts in forgetting where your keys are and ends in forgetting who your family are, who you were or what your name even is. We lost our Grandad, Harry Shaddock, to Alzheimers Dementia last week, a battle exceeding 10 years of his life.
Because of Grandad, this sits closely in our hearts, and we want to make a difference. Aged 11-20 years old, we as Harrys' 7 Grandchildren want to allow his legacy of charity, hard work and kindness live on. Unfortunately, little funds are raised to aid research opportunities for Alzheimer research, especially that in rural communities, and that is what we want to change. Join us, "The G Team" (Grandads Team) in raising money for Alzheimers research to prevent watching our friends, family, or even yourself experience this in the future.
After watching it slowly steal Grandad, we would not wish this horrific disease upon anyone. We have been flooded with support from our local communities and for that we are forever grateful. In this time of grief we ask you to please help us in contributing to Grandads research fund to help countless generations in the future. Even $1 can make a world of difference, it could be the difference between your mum, dad, brother or sister suffering. versus living a rich and fulfilled life as you age.
Thank you in advance for donations, words cannot describe how grateful we are for your help.
We miss you forever Grandad, and hope we do you proud.
