Alyzah Deserves a Chance
Donation protected
UPDATE: 3/15/20 @ 9:20 pm: Alyzah has arrived at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando. They have no diagnosis at this time but they are conducting a series of tests to try and determine the next steps. The doctors also performed a spinal tap this evening. The results of all the test can take 2-3 days to get in. I will keep everyone updated as I find out more information. Again, thank you so much for everyone who is donating, sharing, and praying.
3/15/2020 @ 1:30 pm: My niece, Alyzah Sophia was born on March 14, 2020 at 9:27 am at 5 lbs after an ultrasound showed that she was not "practice breathing." After being born Alyzah was moved to the NICU and put on a respirator due to the fact that she was not breathing on her own.

At about 11:00 pm Alyzah's mom (Kelly) and dad (Dennis) were advised that Alyzah had stopped breathing and actually turned blue requiring the staff to perform chest compressions to force air into her lungs.

An ultrasound was performed this morning and it was discovered that Alyzah has a brain bleed, cyst, and fluid on the brain. She is currently on life support and being transferred to Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando. We are hopeful that Nemours will be able to drain the fluid and help this sweet baby so she has a wonderful life.
In the meantime, Kelly (mom) has not been able to work for several months due to a high risk pregnancy so Dennis (dad) has been working two jobs to make sure his family is taken care of. At this time, Dennis has to make the difficult decision to either stay in Port St. Lucie and work or be able to go to Orlando to be with Kelly and Alyzah. Any little bit can help and possibly give him an extra day here and there that he can be with his baby.
