I’m raising funds for:
- My upcoming Top Surgery. It’s very difficult to get insurance to cover any of these expenses, as a result, I am hoping to tuck away at least $10,000.
- Appointments, aftercare, medication, lab work, and time off work to heal.
Top Surgery would mean:
- Swimming comfortably
- Seeing myself and smiling
- Feeling euphoric in my identity and self
- Going to social events with confidence
- Being Me
- Wearing clothing that isn’t baggy
My dysphoria is very real. I’ve avoided wearing clothing that doesn’t hide my chest. Binding for years is painful. I’ve hidden my identity in various work environments due to my chest being a dead giveaway. My large chest is frustrating, especially when working out, swimming, or wearing tight clothing. It’s hard to feel at home with my body and surgery would help me immensely.
Update!!!!: I have a surgery date!!! End of August! Let’s see how much we can raise!
