In the blink of an eye!!

A lot of you know me but for the ones that don't, my name is Alyssa Davis, born & raised in Salisbury NC, single mom of 3 sons that mean the world to me!! I never imagined I would be doing anything like this. I can't even believe I'm actually doing it I've been debating about it but with a lot of encouragement from my support system i swallowed my pride & decided why not?! Two weeks ago my life changed literally in the blink of an eye. I was slammed face first into a glass table which caused me to lose my vision in my left eye & could possibly cause me to lose my eye completely I also suffered 2 fractures to my right ankle ‍♂️ I am truly devastated by what happened but of course life doesn't stop so I have to keep going! Unfortunately I am out of work for an unknown extended amount of time depending on my surgeries & recovery process. Thus far I've had 2 major eye surgeries & I will be having another one in a few weeks! Everyday tasks that we take for granted have become so difficult such as cooking, driving etc. but my boys are the absolute BEST, I'm so thankful for my babies! Even being outside in the sun for more than 10 mins at a time is so painful. This is by far the most traumatic & painful experience that I've had to endure & this is only the beginning. I have a long road ahead of me but as always I'm remaining positive & prayed up! Just thankful to be here! However this is the worst time to be out of work. The bills don't stop, school just started back & the holidays will be here before we know it. I know everyone has things going on & we all are just trying to make it but I pray that you will find it in your heart to help me out during this difficult time so my children & I can stay afloat!
