Alyssa's Car Crisis: Help Me Get Back On The Road.

Hi my name is Alyssa. About a year ago I financed a used car. The dealer closed down shortly after selling me the car and I have had non stop issues with it. Within a month of me having the car my thermostat got stuck on off which blew my upper radiator hose. I've had to replace control arms, wheel bearings, a cv axel, sensors, experienced transmission issues and my exhaust was badly rusted and had a big hole in it when I bought it. I've poured so much money into this car.
Sunday August 3rd, 2025 I broke down. My car started shuddering hard and my check engine light came on as well as my traction and cruise control lights. I got it scanned and it originally said cylinder 1 misfire. So I replaced the coil pack and spark plugs, one of the original ones had a shattered missing tip, which at least got the car to start but that didn't fix things. went and got it rescanned the next day and there were about 10 more codes popping up. I dropped it off at a shop to have them diagnose the problem and it failed the compression test in cylinder 1 and determined I needed a new engine. They believe the missing tip of the spark plug got pulled into the engine and damaged something. I still owe just over 10,000 on my loan. The cost of the new engine is more than what the Kelley blue book estimates my car is worth when its running. I plan on paying off the rest of my loan but I need a car as soon as possible to get to and from work while I pay off my loan on a car that isn't saveable. Any amount you're able to contribute to me saving for a cheap but reliable car in the immediate future while I work towards paying off my loan would be greatly appreciated. Any amount helps.
I'm a hard working person who supports myself. I work paycheck to paycheck and I didn't come from a family that had a lot of money. I pay for my own phone, car insurance, car payments, etc and this car I was financing was a big help to me. I always had on time payments and being without a car is going to make it difficult for me professionally. I don't like to ask people for help but I am in a bind and have run out of options. Any help is greatly appreciated.
