Hello!


 My name is Alyssa Ortega and I am a Senior at California State University San Marcos. I have always wanted to travel and see the world to expand my knowledge and intelligence with different cultures and lifestyles.

 Unfortunately, due to Covid playing a huge factor in my college years, I have not been able to embark on that journey.

 This Winter, I have been presented an amazing opportunity at my school to study abroad in Amsterdam and Paris! I have never been to Europe and this trip will let me see into cultures in a different perspective than I have ever seen before.

 I am studying to get my Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing and I truly believe that getting more real life experience and meeting new people throughout this journey will only bring me farther in my career as I explore all connections possible!

 Being a full time student is a big struggle financially. I work almost full time and I do my best to balance the money spent for school, rent, and other bills. I also have been financially independent since I was 18 years old.

 I am now working through the ways I can pay my rent and bills while also studying abroad for this once in a lifetime opportunity in Europe.

 With this being said, I thank all of you for taking the time to read this and follow my journey! I am grateful and hopeful for anyone interested and able to provide support for my studies while I am abroad this Winter!
