Alyssa Mattix, wife of Hunter Mattix passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly on Tuesday January 25, 2022. She experienced a sudden onset illness and did not survive.

Alyssa was a beautiful, loving, and caring young women and she will be greatly missed. She was only 21 years old and a newlywed.

Alyssa was a graduate of Westside High school and a student at Arkansas State University. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

There was no way to foresee this tragedy coming and there was no time to prepare. Hunter, his family, and Alyssa’s family are dealing with unbearable pain and grief. God will get them all through this tragedy. However, as their friends and community we need to rally together to help them with expenses for her funeral costs, medical bills, and any other unforeseen expenses.
