The Dinh Family

We are Vlado and Joy Milic, and we started this gofundme page to support the Dinh family - Johnson, Dianne, Justin, Alyssa and Kaylie…Friends we consider family.

We are deeply grateful for the thoughts and prayers you’ve already shared, they have meant so much to the family during this heartbreaking time. We ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers as they navigate their grief and seek strength and comfort.

On May 1st, Alyssa had a tragic accident and was rushed to Richmond Hospital, then transferred to BC Children's Hospital, where she spent four days in critical condition on life support. Sadly, Alyssa suffered severe traumatic head injuries, resulting in internal brain bleeding and significant brain damage. Despite the tireless efforts of the medical team, her injuries were too extensive for recovery.

Alyssa's birthday would have been on May 14th- her 3rd birthday, just a few days before her big brother Justin's birthday on May 17th. Johnson and Dianne take comfort in knowing Alyssa has begun her eternal life with their God in heaven.

We're reaching out for support to help the Dinh family with funeral expenses and lost income, so they can focus on being together - supporting Justin and Kaylie, grieving as a family and honouring Alyssa’s memory.
