Alysia's Hearing Aid Hope: Your Support Counts
Donation protected
Hello, I am Alysia Aguilar. I am not having the best of luck with my health since the auto accident in the past.
I have found out that I lost 10% of my hearing in my left ear.
For a few years I have been just trying to adapt and accept a change.
Finally, was referred to E.N.T after few years of being dismissed by primary doctor.
Somehow the Cochlear nerve was impacted by the trauma to my neck. The bone between the inner ear and brain are close and it affected me inactive my balance. I suffered from migraines, vertigo light sensitivity, brain fog, ear tinnitus chronic ear pain. That I now have to receive Botox injections to keep all these symptoms at bay.
My insurance does not cover hearing aids of course.
Also, I have been out of work for the past 06 months unwillingly. Still trying to catch up on bills from all of that.
That is why I'm making a separate go fund me for strictly medical my hearing aids. I am on a trial of testing them out for 02 weeks. The hearing aids are already helping me hear better not so much repeating from my husband even whenever he whispers to me ha-ha that's huge for me.
Many probably think 10% is not much until it is you and the frustration it creates. I'm glad to not guess what was possibly said, or act like I heard what was said.
Not quite the birthday gift to ask for, but here I am a week away from my birthday can't afford to hear. I can't wait to get back to work with my limitations but push through!
I will attach a picture showing the inner ear and what the E.N.T circled is what is affected.
Any little bit helps and I truly appreciate anyone donating.
As a former caregiver it's hard to ask for help let accept you need help. To be in the position at such a young age.
Thank you for reading and sharing or even just caring. ❤️
Birthday is in one week to date.
