If you know Alysia and Nick Tormina you already know this year has not been the greatest start by far. For those that don’t know they had lost their first born Paisley on 1/10/21. She was only ten days old. We did not prepare for things to take another devastating turn.  

Through out Alysia’s pregnancy with Paisley she has had tremendous back pain. The pain continued an after giving birth, so they went to the doctors discovered a two inch tumor on her lower spine. They did a biopsy and a couple other scans and it has revealed that Alysia has “giant cell rich osteosarcoma”. This is a rare form of bone cancer. Less than 1,000 people get this in the US per year. Doctors are trying to act fast as this is a very aggressive cancer. 

Alysia’s reason to fight for her life is so that she can still after all this is to  be able to grow her little family.  She has an appointment to get her eggs retrieved and will start chemo in two weeks. This will be a long road, but I know she can fight this. Alysia is truly a very beautiful, caring, strong, person from the inside out. Please pray for her health and for their family as this is another hard time for them.  This fund will help pay for medical treatments, medications, and procedures. Most of all this will give Alysia hope for a chance to have another beautiful baby.
