My name is Alyaa Abdulghany, and I am pursuing my dream to become a professional golfer on the LPGA tour.

I was born in Malaysia and currently live in Newport Beach, California. My love for the game started at eight years old. I knew when I played my first tournament, I wanted to be a high-caliber professional golfer. In my early years as an amateur, I have had amazing opportunities to represent the United States in the Junior Ryder Cup and Junior Solheim Cup to play against the best players around the world. I also had amazing opportunities to compete in prestigious amateur and professional events including the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, USGA Women’s Amateur, Colorado CoBank Women’s Open, Women’s Australian Masters of the Amateur, and winning the Silver Medal for my home country in the 2019 SEA Games.

I will be starting my professional career in the LPGA Q-School this August. There are three stages in this event starting in Palm Springs, California and ending in North Carolina over the course of four months. I am graciously asking for your help to cover tournament costs. These costs will strictly include travel expenses and entry fees. Your support, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated.

I recently graduated from the University of Southern California where I achieved the following academic and athletic achievements:

• Senate member of the Trojan Athletic Senate, representative of the Community Service department

• 2x PAC-12 All-American Honorable Mention
