Suddenly and unexpectedly Raymond passed away on May 16th, 2021. I, Kristina, am helping Rosa coordinate this GoFundMe page. We appreciate all donations and those who can share this page.
Raymond is a loving son, brother, friend, boyfriend, uncle, and father. He is one of the most real, honest, and genuine human beings you have ever met! He enjoyed spending time with people. Starting at a young age Raymond always enjoyed skating. You may know Raymond from a community of skaters. Raymond was a part of the Chicano skatepark family, he was a legend to us all!
Raymond was an amazing father to his year and half old son Rowan and his daughter Natalie who is just four years old. When Rowan was born and Natalie came into his life this amplified his love and care, they were his world. He was thoughtful, warmhearted, and easy to love. People love to be around him because of the positivity he brought to the table. He always cared deeply for those he was around. The saying honesty is the best policy was definitely part of his personality; He couldn’t lie even if he needed to. He was blunt to the core. He was hilarious, intellectual, and spontaneous. There was never a dull moment with Raymond. He enjoyed being around all his friends. He was also extremely resourceful. If you ever needed to count on someone, Raymond always had your back. He was no doubt the life of the party!

We want to give Raymond the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. His family is currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Raymond’s funeral and celebration of life and the remainder to go towards any expenses for his children. We currently need to raise $20,000 to cover these costs.
