Always, Archie: Chester Half Marathon
Donation protected
On May 18th, 2025, I will be running the Chester Half Marathon in memory of my beautiful nephew, Archie, who tragically lost his battle with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) two months before his second birthday. Archie is deeply missed, but his spirit inspires us every day.
This run is my way of honouring him and raising vital funds for my brother, Alex, and sister-in-law, Anita, as they establish ‘Always, Archie’—a charity dedicated to supporting children with AML and their families.
AML is an aggressive and fast-progressing cancer, but remains severely under-researched, leaving families with limited treatment options and devastating uncertainty. ‘Always, Archie’ aims to ease the financial and emotional burden these families face, helping with treatment and hospital expenses; and facilitating positive experiences during the hardest times. Your support will also help raise awareness of the urgent need for more research into AML.
Any donations or words of encouragement will not only mean the world to us, but bring comfort, hope, and much-needed support to families in need.
Thank you for helping us make a difference in Archie’s memory.
Please note:
