I took my first dip of snuff with Josh before Kayla Young's birthday party at the community center in Eupora (where everyone had their parties as children). It was peach skoal. I threw up from the time we got out of school until 20 minutes before the party kicked off. Josh took care of me for an extended period of time, along with Jonathan Hodges. He made sure I made it to the party because Eminem had just dropped a new record and we are all best friends and we left no soldier behind.
I loved hanging out with Josh because he was so adventurous. We would walk all over town (we were too young to drive), down the rail road tracks, up to Jonny's grand parents on Hodges Hill, and to all the stores around town to buy cheap candy and drinks. Some of the best times of my child hood were spent with Josh.
We would box, he would win. We would play video games, he would win. Football, win. We would race, he would trip me and win. I am so upset that we lost such a winner. I know that we grew apart over the years but I'll never forget the great times we had together. I will love you forever and always Josh, I know you are happy to see your mother. Rest In Peace my friend.
