My dad, Alvin, passed away after bravely fighting cancer. He was not only a devoted husband and loving father, but also a hardworking small business owner who poured his heart into everything he did. Over the past year, as his health declined, my mom and dad had to step away from their small business to focus on his care, which has created additional challenges for our family.
