Alvin Neiman Fundraiser

Donation protected
I'm Jason Babiak,Alvin Neiman's brother. I'm asking you to  help  Alvin after he was involved in a very serious vehicle accident this past Tuesday night November 15,2016.

He and his son in law,Kyle Handley, were travelling near Breton,Alberta pulling a trailer moving a load of belongings to a new residence. Due to extreme weather and road conditions, they encountered a very slippery intersection, unable to stop they entered opposing traffic and were struck by a tractor trailer.

Alvins's truck was destroyed and consumed by fire. Alvin and Kyle suffered severe injuries, thankfully they are still alive after this horriffic crash.

As most of you know, Alvin unfortunately is already a parapalegic resulting from an accident that happened twenty plus years ago . That left him disabled  and struggling, coupled with this latest tragedy will make it very difficult for him and his family to overcome.

Alvin lost not only his truck, he also lost several belongings such as medical supplies, pictures , documents, wallet, television, and cell phone   as the truck had these  items in it due to the move.

Alvin lost all his personal assistance equipment on his truck, such as his personal and wheelchair hoists  in the accident/fire,including his wheelchair.  These are items that gave him the freedom to "get out" after his initial accident, without these he is captive.

The injuries sustained by himself (several broken ribs, internal organ damage etc ) and Kyle (pelvis, hip and organ damage)  will take months to get over, this is compounded by the fact that Alvin just got out of the hospital after a six month stay due to previous medical issues. Being a parapalegic, only makes all this more difficult for Alvin to overcome.

Alvin's sisters  Lorraine Kuzio and Connie Drewniak along with Alvin's older brother Dennis Neiman and myself, Jason Babiak (mom's favourite)  greatly appreciate anything you can donate to help Alvin get his life back on track.

This means alot to us, allowing Alvin to still have the freedom of being able to drive himself while being confined to a wheelchair. That along with his daughter Jessica, Kyle and their two children (Dallis and Sierra) have been Alvin's greatest sources of joy over the last few years and we want that all to continue for him with the least amount of grief as possible. Lord knows he's been through enough! He deserves something good.

He will need alot of money to get  a new wheelchair  and a   vehicle that is outfitted with the necessary assist equipment such as lifts & hand controls.

Help Alvin maintain what litttle freedom he still has!

Please pass this  along to those that would like to help

Thank you very much
