HOW MANY MORE FAMILIES HAVE TO BURY THEIR CHILDREN?

Officer Joseph Mensah killed THREE PEOPLE in FIVE YEARS — and he’s STILL wearing a badge.

Three dead. One cop. No justice.

The Cole Family has filed a SECOND COMPLAINT against Joseph Mensah, demanding that he be held personally liable for the loss of society and companionship of their son, Alvin Cole — a 17-year-old boy whose life was stolen outside Mayfair Mall on February 2, 2020.

Alvin died on his hands and knees, shot 5 times in the side and back, while he cried out for his mother — a heartbreaking moment captured on squad car footage.

And Alvin wasn’t Mensah’s only victim.

Antonio Gonzales — killed July 16, 2015

Jay Anderson Jr. — killed June 23, 2016

Alvin Cole — killed February 2, 2020

3 Black men. 3 families torn apart. Same officer. Same gun. Same outcome.

How many lives does an officer get to take before he’s stopped?

How many funerals does a community have to endure?

How is this man still walking free — with a badge and a gun?

In order for Joseph Mensah to be right, everyone else who testified against him must be wrong — including other Wauwatosa Police officers.

Yet, despite the deaths of three innocent people, Mensah wasn’t fired. He wasn’t charged. He wasn’t convicted.

He was PROMOTED.

THIS ISN’T JUSTICE — IT’S A DEATH SENTENCE FOR OUR COMMUNITIES.

The Civil Suit against Joseph Mensah is going back to trial on September 8, 2025.

The first trial ended in a hung jury — but that’s NOT the end. A hung jury is a NEW jury. A new chance at justice.

The Cole family has been fighting this battle for YEARS — and they need our help now more than ever.

We CANNOT let Alvin’s name die in silence. We CANNOT let Jay and Antonio be forgotten. We CANNOT let Mensah walk away again.
