Alvin Bernard Sheff

On behalf of the Sheff Family,

We are raising funds for a dear family member of ours. Bernard was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in August 2020. He is currently in hospice at Hartford Hospital fighting one of the hardest battles, in which his time is, unfortunately coming to an end. Throughout this battle, Bernard has always been one of the strongest spirits, encouraging and helping those along the way facing their own battles. Loved by all, he will be leaving behind a huge dent in the lives of many.

Bernard is a loving and dedicated husband and father to 8 boys and 4 girls. He has 4 sisters and 3 brothers! In his time he has impacted many; bringing countless joy, laughter, and memories to those all around him. Having such high spirits, he was the glue to our entire family. He was enough to bring light into a place so dark, as he is truly one of a kind.

Growing up in Charter Oak, many knew him as "B.Tuf". Countless stories of his impact float through the streets of Hartford, being a man so well known for his strength and his heart. He has been a symbol of his presence, in the place in which he has taken pride in being from, Hartford, CT. Also, which, for the past 56 years, was his place of residence. Where many knew and felt his love.

In this tragic time of need, we are asking for support and prayers. All donations will go towards helping to fund funeral expenses to give our love a great final farewell. Please keep Bernard in your thoughts and prayers.
