Adolfo was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in October 2019. At that time, he was told by some of the best doctors at MD Anderson, Houston that he could expect to live another 2 – 5 years. We had no warning much less could we have imaged that the stomach- ache that landed him in ER would yield such a harsh reality to our family. But most importantly to the 3 little girls that he has left behind. He was only 39!!
Adolfo was my brother, he was a solider that served in the United States Army, Family man, Friend to all that he met, and he ALWAYS put everyone before him. He left this world having changed many lives for the better and gaping holes in the hearts of many.
Thru Adolfo’s battle, he never complained, never blamed anyone for this illness, he fought like the true solider that he was and in fact kept working so that he could continue to provide for this family.
He created a “To Do” List of all the things that he wanted to accomplish with and for his family before he left this world.
Sadly, my brother only lived 9 months after his initial diagnosis, and we are left with his list of “To do’s”! He will never see his oldest graduate highs-school, attend their sporting events but we can help with the financial goals that he had for them. Unfortunately, medical bills and funeral expenses took any savings that he may have started for the girls.
His daughters are Celina, 16; Clara 10; and Catalina 7. Any monetary donation to help with their future education would be most greatly appreciated.
God Bless!!
