Alvaro Raul "Cowboy Roy" Gonzalez

Dear friends and family this is me Frankie, wife of our old cowboy Roy, letting you know that you've seen him fight for years to stay alive while today he lost the fight and Cowboy Roy rides away. He was with his wife and family, his girls and his boy and that's how we wanted. He loved the family we built from our kiddos, grandbabies to great grandbabbies and could be prouder of each. It has been a hard battle many years and most of you've been there for us the whole time we now find ourselves in need of a little Help. We are reaching out for any and all help with cremation and final expenses. But he will be cremated there'll be no fancy anything we had to bring him to a specialist because we wanted to make sure we were making the right decision to let him go. He wanted to make sure that everybody knew that he loved them and had a special place in his heart for all the primos. Of course his Sombrero festival family board of directors going back to 1986 his proudest moment was when he was elected President in 2002. He loved it so much with providing the music and bringing the happiness part of the festival. I don't have much more to say except thank you all very much for being there if you can help us find and if you can't I know you are the greatest prayer group in the world love you guys so much and my kids appreciate all that you've done for me thank you.
