As many of you know yesterday the devastating news was received that Alvaro"Beto" Rascon has passed away - he leaves behind his wife Stephanie, his 7 children and stepdaughter, 3 grandchildren, his parents Yvonne and Vicent Rascon and his siblings and their families .
His youngest daughters are still very small and they were so attached to their "papi" - anyone that knew Beto knew how much he loved his "Little girlies" - he was so proud of his sons!
He showed them off to everyone and talked about the great men they were and his daughter Mayela - his pride "she's tough" he would say "Just like her Pa" His family was his heart - there was no doubt about it!
He was a great friend to anyone who he friended - always took his shirt off his back for everyone, never hesitated to do anything.
He was a great co-worker- he never hesitated to put in work or help his coworkers - He loved his job and he loved watching his students succeed- Their success was his success. He went the extra mile for them - he always offered a smile, a hello . a handshake... he always took the time to ask "how it was going" .
He was upbeat, super energetic, and so positive about the outlook of life. Anyone who knew Beto knew he loved life- his loved to socialize. He was the life of any party or event.
He was very well know in the community by many healthcare facilities where he always volunteered for events . He graduated 100s of students that are actively working in the medical field. He loved his not just his job but his Career and he worked very hard- his favorite saying was "Money never sleeps, you gotta hustle"
Beto will be greatly missed by everyone - in effort to assure that during these times his wife and daughters are taken care of this GOFUND has been started .
The family is not just facing this tragic and sudden loss but also having to arrange for their loved one.
Alvaro is smiling down at everyone and he would be touched by the amount of people he has impacted in life and have taken the time to share so many kind and loving words about him.
All funds will be directly deposited to his wife Stephanie Rascon .
2020 has been a year of duality. Life and death. So many lives have been lost this year, so much mourning and suffering globally. But life has been appreciated. We have slowed down...spent time with family and have learned that indeed "Life is too short" -
In Beto's words " Life is too beautiful- don't forget to take time to enjoy it "
