True to his nature, my husband Paul Vieira lives the selfless and fearless life of a warrior. Paul has always been devoted to family, faith and friends, and has provided mentorship to many. Always one to be counted on, always one to unflinchingly step up, reach out, touch your heart and bring a smile. Paul has always brought with him sunshine and hope.

But in the irony of life, the ground has shifted, the tables have turned and the skies have darkened. My Paul, our Paul, now faces the ultimate type of disabling neurological disease, a medical fight no one can face alone.

Despite his resilience and unfathomable resolve, there remain astronomical medical and personal care challenges to be faced for the rest of his remaining life. Together, we can help Paul navigate the tides of this devastating and debilitating neurodegenerative disease. Definitely, together we can bring a silver lining to those darken skies.

Through the amazing efforts of family, friends, school alumni and others, we are seeking to raise funds to support our warrior in his time of great need.
