Hi, my name is Andrew, and I'm fundraising for my friends' daughter Altynay to support her during recovery after a neurological surgery. Altynay is six years old and lives with her parents and siblings in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

After a posthemorrhagic stroke and trepanning, Altynay lost her ability to walk and sit. She needs specialized treatment for partial agenesis of the corpus callosum due to an intranatal accident, a rare disease that is not treatable in Kyrgyzstan. She and her parents have to fly to Moscow, Russia, to get treatment every two months. Each course lasts 15-20 days and costs about $8500, excluding accommodation, food, and air tickets. On average, it takes up to three years to recover, depending on a body response to the treatment. She also needs an exoskeleton (ExoAtlet Bambini), which costs $ 115,000.

There is hope that Altynay will live a whole and healthy life with the right and timely treatment. This fund will assist Altynay's family with the current treatment support.
