Please help us honor Alton while supporting graduating students from West Babylon Senior High School's Class of 2020. Let's keep his spirit alive!
Alton was a "gentle giant' who helped support anyone he could because he wanted to see everyone excel! In an effort to keep his spirit of generosity and leadership alive, his family has created a scholarship fund for students in his hometown who excel in both sports and academics as he did! West Babylon Senior High School seniors have already begun to apply for the scholarship and we would like to donate as many $1000 scholarships as possible!
Alton was a bright student and an amazing athlete in the West Babylon school district. He excelled in the classroom and in any sport he played. He was a natural athlete and played multiple sports throughout his school career including track, lacrosse and soccer. Football, however, was always his first love. He played varsity football as an Eagle all four years of high school and earned All-County and All- Long Island. He also excelled in wrestling, which brought him all over the world. He was nationally ranked by the time he graduated WBHS and was a two-time New York State Champion. Sports, academics, and determination allowed him to be the first person in his family to attend college.
Alton was a friendly person and was always smiling. Although he faced some adversities in life, he positively impacted the lives of everyone around him. This scholarship is for a student who excels in both sports, and academics.
