Hi my name is Darian and I will be raising money for Altnagelvin parents support group, last year I completed the waterside half marathon on behalf of this amazing charity raising £1200, this year my aim is to better that.

As some of you may know my son Tiarnán has a life limited condition and would attend ward 16 for bloods and heart echos and even during his hospital stays we realised how much this charity helps parents.

we have seen first hand the amazing work they do from children getting toys when attending appointments, to parents getting a bed to sleep on if child is admitted, to toiletries for parents, the events they put on throughout the year and at the end of each year they hold an amazing Christmas event for the children and family and all this can’t be done without donations and that’s why I chose to do this charity again as they are so thankful and appreciate the donations.

ill be doing the waterside half marathon again in September and hoping to do another few challenges between now and then
