Dear family, friends, and community,
Thank you again for the incredible love and support you’ve shown me since the Eaton/Altadena Wildfires destroyed my home on January 7, 2025. Your kindness has truly carried me through some of the most challenging moments of my life.
I want to share an important update on my journey and how the funds raised so far have helped—and why I am humbly asking for continued support.
In July, while still recovering from the devastation of losing my home, I underwent a hysterectomy. This was a major surgery that required significant recovery time, both physically and emotionally. Shortly after, I experienced another unexpected blow: I lost my corporate job due to strategic company changes affecting my position as a Construction Project Manager. With my home gone, my health impacted, and my employment lost almost simultaneously, my small business also suffered greatly during this time.
The funds you’ve contributed have helped me cover basic necessities during this difficult transition—rent, food, gas, medical follow-ups, and essential bills. Every donation has made a real difference in helping me stay afloat while I work to rebuild my stability from the ground up.
I am actively applying for new roles every day, doing everything I can to regain my footing. Unfortunately, I have not yet secured a suitable opportunity, and the financial strain continues to grow. This is why I’m asking for continued support from my community during this critical period.
Your generosity—whether through donations, sharing my story, or keeping me in your prayers—means more than words can express. You are helping me rebuild a life that was interrupted in ways I never anticipated.
Thank you for standing with me through all of this. I am deeply grateful, and I will continue to provide updates as I move forward one day at a time.
With all my heart,
Christina
