My beloved home was lost during the Altadena fire that has tragically devastated our community. While I feel tremendously grateful to be safe at the moment, it is also a time to realize that I truly need help. I had to evacuate while the horrifying tornado and flames surrounded my neighborhood , leaving everything behind. What hurts the most is leaving my African and Native American drums that taught me life lessons and allowed me to connect to wonderful people from all over the world; my plants that filled my space with beauty and kept me company. The sun against the mountain backdrop will forever be kept in my heart. I welcome any type of support during this time. Everything helps, since I need the essentials from clothing to a more permanent place to live.
