Like too many people, Mayera, Eric-Val, and Elan lost everything in the Los Angeles fires. Their story is particularly terrible because they had just moved into their dream home that they built right next to Val's childhood house. To spend years building a home—doing much of the manual work themselves—just to watch it burn down 6 months after moving in is unfathomable.
Who I am: I am Mayera’s & Val's sister in law and Elan's aunt. My family lives in Boston.
What the money is for: I started this to help get them back on their feet ASAP. Your donation will be used for immediate needs such as buying clothes and other basic necessities, temporary housing, replenishing all of Elan’s things.
