Alston’s Army

Where do I even begin, my name is Abby Murdock and I’m fundraising for the sweetest boy, my godson, Alston who is in need of incredible support and prayers right now. He’s an athletic all star who loves sports, playing and having fun with his brothers (Aiden and Ace) and is a huge fan of superheroes! He had a bad fall last week and upon getting checked out at the hospital a large mass was found in his pelvis and he was transported to Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Hospital. An abundance of caution is being taken as his parents move forward with his medical team choosing the best options for his care. Alston is a strong and healthy 4-year-old full of excitement for life! His mom, Chassity, works in the medical field and is the best support for Alston being by his side through his care. His dad, Tim is a soldier and was flown back from deployment to be with his family during this faith-shaking time. If you’re the praying kind, Alston and his family are in need of our prayers and any support we can provide. While the Marcums go through Alston’s testing and surgery as well as follow-on medical care, pending his results, the least of their worries should be the financial burden of medical bills. If you feel moved to support Chassity and Tim (Alston’s parents) and Alston’s care while he is being treated, any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated. Updates will be added to this page as we learn more about the mass the medical team found and what Alston’s care will look like moving forward.
