ALS Treatment for Cindy

Hi my name is Alan and I'm fundraising to help my wife Cindy get the necessary treatments for her ALS! A little bit about her ALS journey. Her first symptom of ALS was in the summer of 2007. She was diagnosed in June 2008 in Huntsville, Alabama and then sent to UAB for a second opinion in August. They then confirmed what we feared that it was, in fact this dreaded disease. Cindy herself is a BSN RN and did lots of research and came up with what she believed was her best option. She changed to an organic diet, detoxed her body, and took many supplements. Cindy watched what she put into her body and tried to avoid getting sick. She continued working as a nurse up until the end of 2013, which is pretty AMAZING! Her progression has been very slow. She lost the ability to stand in 2021. She could still speak and you could understand most of what she was saying. At the End of September 2022 she got RSV. She struggled to Breathe so much that it irritated her throat severely. Thankfully she fought through the RSV like a champ, but her throat hasn't bounced back as we had hoped. After almost a month in the hospital, Cindy is scheduled to get a feeding tube. We knew this day would come, just thought it wouldn't be so sudden. There is a treatment that helps restore strength in the tongue, jaw muscles, throat and voice, and body. The treatment center is in Miami (bodyscience.life). The initial treatment is 3-4 weeks with follow-up visits every 6 months. We are hoping that this treatment, along with AMX0035 will be able to heal her throat and see improvements in other areas as well.
