Al’s liver transplant. Please help
Donation protected
We live in a world where, all too often, compromised individuals are required to choose between crippling debt or death. Fortunately, Al has chosen life!
For the past 9 years, Al has been fighting hepatitis and cancer. He has been hospitalized, evaluated by specialists, and consistently monitored by his doctors. During this time, Al never lost his positivity and remained the always-ready-to-help friend, family, and neighbor we all know. After almost a decade of agony, we are happy to declare that Al has undergone a liver transplant and is officially on the road to recovery!
We are proud of Al for being strong and choosing life, despite the mental, physical, and financial challenges of the past 9 years. Unfortunately, many of these challenges will continue, as Al will be unable to work for a minimum of 6 months. He will need medication to ensure his transplant works, which will cost thousands of dollars each month after insurance. On top of nursing Al back to health, his wife, Jenni, will become the family’s sole provider and caretaker for their 3 beautiful children, Sara (21), AJ (13), and Jon (9). So the decision has been made to be vulnerable, to lean on friends and family, and ask for help. We ask that you help lift this beautiful family up and into the second chance at life that they have been given.
Any and all donations help and will be appreciated more than you will ever know. Please remember to share this on your wall. The more people that this reaches the better chances we have to meet our goals.
Lastly, if you are not an organ donor please consider becoming one. You can be the key to a family’s second chance.
