ALS Fundraiser for John Gambone

Maybe you know John Gambone as your favorite electrician, or an old classmate from Flagler Palm Coast High School. Maybe you know him as a great fisherman, or one of the biggest sports fanatics ever! Likely, you are familiar with some, or even all of these things about him. John is one of our oldest and dearest friends. Always with a smile, never ending kindness and compassion for everyone. We are reaching out on behalf of John, and his wife Rosalie to ask that you join us in supporting him through this extremely difficult journey.

John has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. This is a terminal illness.....there is no cure. It is a neuro-degenerative disease in which a person's brain losses connection with the muscles, and nerves die off. People with ALS lose their ability to walk, talk, eat and eventually breathe. The life expectancy is 2-5 yrs.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to help John with home and medical expenses. This may include home modifications and bringing in health care assistance. John needs to be as comfortable as possible as he endures this horrific disease.
