ALS Fundraiser for Hannah

Donation protected
Please donate to help Hannah live more comfortably with her ALS. As many of you know, my wife, Hannah, received a terminal diagnosis of ALS on March 22, 2023. After having symptoms that began the end of 2018, her mobility and health has drastically declined. Hannah is able to still walk a few steps, but now is solely using a wheelchair. She has limb-onset ALS, which is characterized by symptoms of muscle weakness starting in the arms and/or legs.  As ALS progresses into later disease stages, muscle weakness will typically result in paralysis. Most people with ALS will have limited ability to move voluntarily in the later stages of the disease. They also experience weakness in the chest, abdomen, and lung muscles; leading to breathing difficulties. Words do not even describe the past 21+ years with my amazing wife. She is the first person that truly believed in me and that I could just act myself when I was around her. She has made me a better person, husband, and father. No matter what we have gone through we have always done it together. Standing side by side and moving forward with faith have brought many miracles into our life. I cannot even begin to comprehend walking through life without my sweetie by my side. So instead, we are focusing on the now, cherishing every moment and doing all we can to make each and every day the best day of our life. We have always said you can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy. She is an amazing mother to our sweet children and knowing she may not see them grow to become adults has been crushing. This fundraiser will help to make sure that Hannah has everything she needs in order to enjoy the time she has. We don’t know what her timeline is, so we are enjoying it all every day. The funds of this fundraiser will go towards getting an accessible van, medical equipment that insurance doesn’t cover, and any other expenses that come along the way in relation to her diagnosis. We have already been tremendously blessed. And are thankful for every single one of you that have spoken kinds word and been a source of support.
