My goal has always been to help others ever since I was given less than an 8% chance to survive cancer in 1992. Karate saved my life so I started a free 501c3 Karate School for Veterans and the Military in 2015, but had to pass it on to my other volunteer instructors as I'm no longer able to speak or teach very well. Walking and balance is very difficult now also.

I was blessed to be working in the music industry since I was 14 years old, but unfortunately had to leave my job in May 2021.

Financially in the future, things will be very difficult, as very few drugs are FDA approved and the average statistics for ALS are 3-5 years of living.

I am blessed to have Long Term Disability Insurance, but it will not cover the financial burdens that come with this disease.

I am asking for donations to help my wife and I live a solid, enjoyable life in our home for as many years as possible. That includes ramps, stair lifts, handicapped access to restrooms, home health care, caregiving, etc.

I am in the best space in my life to manage this disease in so many aspects. Physically, mentally, spiritually, showered with love from my beautiful wife/life partner, family, friends, Veterans, co-workers from my industry back to 1980, my community, my neighborhood, my town, and the best ALS Neurologist in the country.

I will never stop fighting. And I will never stop enjoying the benefit to wake up every day and love everyone around me for as long as possible..

I have a tattoo on my wrist that says "only kindness matters" and that has been my life, my community, and my career.
