Join Alpha Gamma Delta at the University of Washington as we raise money to donate to our philanthropies: Treehouse for Kids, Feeding America, and Meals on Wheels and put on our biggest fundraiser of the year, Mr. Greek!
Nearly 1 in 6 seniors are dealing with hunger and Meals on Wheels is working to help these people. Founded in 1954, Meals on Wheels is community driven throughout the country, annually helping nearly 2.4 million senior citizens! But as our population ages they are going to need more help than ever to keep helping the seniors around the country eat. It would be amazing to help those who helped raise us. Feeding America also works to provide the millions of children and adults who do not get the meals they need to thrive. They work with farmers, manufacturers, and retailers to get the essential food to people in need. Last year alone, they gave out 46 million meals to those in need! Last but not least, Treehouse for Kids provides foster children with clothes, school supplies, and food. Things kids should never go without. Last year they helped 6000 kids in Kings County alone!
