Aloha, today we remember grandmoe Donna

Hey all, my Momma has passed into the heavens above. She was the best mom and grandmother, but she liked to be called,"GrandMoe", and she was rebellious with a mean streak, and could be very stubborn. She was the type of mom that would sock you in the shoulder real hard, but I have to admit that she socked me less than my other two brothers. At the same time, she was the most generous person I have ever known. On multiple occasions, I witnessed her taking care of people that were not even related to her, taking them in to live with us when they were at the ends of their lives-- a time when most people would shy away from taking care of even their own family members, cleaning them and feeding them. She would give you 5 bucks even though she only had 8 in her pocket. She was an unbelievable cook and we were so fortunate as kids to have her feeding us every night. I'd come into the kitchen and I would say, "mom is dinner ready yet?" because it smelled so good that I could taste it. And boy, could she tell a story, that's where I got my ability to tell a story. Our family has a gift for that. Most importantly, she lived her life to the fullest, and she did things that were probably not good for her, but that's what she wanted to do, and she lived her life that way: free to do it her way, and so she did. But, in the end, we all have a date with destiny, and alas it was her time to move on here from this place. I would like to ask you to help us with some of the costs it requires to have here properly taken care of at this time, so we can get everything squared away for her.

I'd like to leave you with some words: I want to be an Angel in the sky, I want to see you one more time. I want to be an Angel in the wind. I want to hold you in my arms again, so we can fly away through the Milkyway far away from here. I dream you in the night, I miss you through these days. I wonder what it's like to see this place. Show me all the Heavens take me by the hand, I'll remember what I know as I understand. As we fly away through the Milkyway, where time and space fall away, far away from here.
