Does Driving Meditation Work? Nope.
For over 20 years our compassionate teacher, Tom Davidson-Marx, at Aloha Sangha has generously offered free mindfulness meditation classes at his peaceful Hawaii home. His kindness, wisdom, and humor have helped many of us through the daily grind and through deep trauma. His personal guidance and his family’s warmth have created a lovely and loving community.
But if "life is change," then he got a good dose of it 2 weeks ago. Not only did he lose his car driving home from a late night shift at the hospital (where he works as a nurse), but his landlord sent his family a letter that they must move.
Thankfully, everyone is unharmed, but in our last session it was clear that we’d all like to help out and give back to this family who has given us so much. Together we can make their transition a little easier.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help them purchase a new used car and defray their upcoming moving expenses.
We are deeply grateful for any assistance helping our dear friends through these unexpected times.
