Never before being apart for more than one night at a time, Bryce and his mommy had to say goodbye on Easter Sunday, as she was flown off-island to undergo an urgent open-heart surgery. Unfortunately, Nanette is still in ICU and experiencing several post surgery complications. Her heart has not come back to beating on its own and she is now in need of additional life saving surgery and more.
Nanette has been so generous to the Maui community over the years, always donating whatever extra time and money she has to many different school activities, fundraisers, drives, cub scouts, teacher assistance and much , much more. Now it's her in a position of needing donations for herself and Bryce from community and friends.
Extensive costs not covered by insurance as a result of her extended hospital stay, additional surgery, recovery time and having to stay somewhere off-island near her hospital until doctors feel it is safe for her to return here with Bryce, are quickly adding up. We’d like to take worry and burden of some of these finances off of her shoulders so she can focus on her health and healing with support, prayers and any charitable donations possible.
