Our family of five (with a sixth on the way) needs help protecting our home after Hurricane Lowell tore away the beach that was once between us and the ocean. Since the storm hit, waves have reached our house every single day pulling more rock and land out from under us. We live right on top of what's eroding, and we hear the waves crashing beneath us day and night.

We're raising funds for gabion baskets (wire mesh cages filled with rock) and grout bags. These are proven, durable solutions that will help stabilize the shoreline, hold the remaining land in place, and protect our home and even our community behind us from further damage as more storms come.
