Al-Noor runs four schools for children from impoverished and minority group families in Aligarh, a small town in India. Their parents earn less than $2 a day, and are far below the poverty line in India. The kids, the majority of whom are girls, receive a completely free education, including clothing, books and food, and it costs only $52 to support one child for the year! Any and every dollar goes a long way.
