ALMOST THERE: Help to complete the new classrooms

Donation protected

In March, Jema (Director of St. Justine’s School in Kidatu, Tanzania) shared his dream. He wanted his school to be officially registered by the government and he wanted the school to expand in order to get more kids off the streets.

On April 1st, we started a crowdfunding campaign to support the building of a new double classroom for St. Justin’s School. With the new building, Jema will be able to provide education to an additional amount of 30-60 pupils who would otherwise either be on the streets or working.

We have gained the attention of almost 10.000 people and thanks to numerous generous donors we have collected almost 3000 euros of the 5000 that were needed in order to build the classrooms. Something we are very proud of, and something that would never have been possible without YOU. Though, after this successful campaign we did not stand still. A charity organization was found which was willing to donate the remaining amount in order to finish building. This process is being finalized as we speak.

Thanks to all the generous people who donated, St. Justine’s school is now officially registered and soon an additional 40 kids will get the opportunity to get educated. There is only one more hurdle to overcome; raise money to buy desks and get the professional material needed in order to teach these children.

Therefore, your help is needed one more time; to share, and if possible, to donate a (small) amount to support the finalization of this project. Or from a different angle; to support the start of a life with opportunities for a lot of children.
